Sophia Rosetti is an actor and writer.

She was born in Washington, D.C., where storytelling was a part of her life from the start. The daughter of a journalist and an investigator, she grew up curious about people and their unique circumstances — learning multiple languages and living internationally. That early perspective, combined with years of observing working listening —through both successes and setbacks outside of acting, informs how she opens up a scene and works with a character and other actors.

On stage and on set, Sophia is known for being a physical, curious actor with good instincts. She’s steadily building a body of work that reflects a sustained curiosity about varied origins, life stages and timelines, and brings a passion for research and languages to all of her work.

Sophia is bicoastal. Over the past two and a half years, she’s appeared in projects spanning film, television, and Off-Broadway. Her first on-set experience was on the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel finale. Since then, she has choreographed for small theater, and starred in (and spontaneously co-wrote) a docufiction feature filmed in Panama in June 2025.

She is a graduate of Vassar College and lives with a large orange rescue cat named Sy who has a very good life.
